Towerdraw TC-77
TOWERDRAW TC-77 is a heavy duty water soluble paste developed as a lubricant for drawn over mandrel tube and pipe bending. It forms a strong barrier film with a high degree of lubricity without the use of chemical extreme pressure agents (S, C, or P). TOWERDRAW TC-77 uses a solid film lubricants to reduce the coefficient of friction and improve lubricant film strength. It is safe for use on all metals and can be used on difficult 1-D bends and on large diameter tubing. This formula meets the US Navy low halogen specification. Can also be used for extreme duty sheet metal stamping and drawing operations.
Usage
TOWERDRAW TC-77 is typically used neat for draw bending and end forming operations. It can be hand applied by brush or swab, or pumped through mandrel rod lubricators that are capable of pumping light grease. TOWERDRAW TC-77 will form a stable emulsion when the water is added in the proper order of addition. Slowly add water to the TOWERDRAW TC-77 with agitation until the desired consistency is reached.Can be removed by aqueous wash using a high quality alkaline cleaner, such as TOWERKLENE 42-A, operating at 120 - 140 F.
