Additive Super SG

ADDITIVE SUPER SG is a product designed for use as a tankside conditioner in water extendable metalworking lubricants. It is suitable for use in soluble oil, semi-synthetic, and synthetic coolants. ADDITIVE SUPER SG can be used when the reservoir containing fluid show signs of deterioration such as the development of odor, slime growth, or diminished rust protection. If the pH of the fluid being treated is below 8.8 it is recommended to first add AMP 95. Start out by adding 8 – 16 ounces of AMP 95 per 100 gallons of fluid and continue to add until the pH reaches 8.8 to 9.4. For best results add ADDITVE SUPER SG after adjusting the pH to 8.8 or higher.

Usage

ADDITIVE SUPER SG is used at a recommended charge level of 8 to 32 ounces per 100 gallons of reservoir fluid. Typical maintenance treatments are 16 ounces per 100 gallons (0.125% by vol) and shock treatments are 32 ounces per 100 gallons (0.250% by vol). ADDITIVE SUPER SG should be introduced slowly into the inlet side of the recirculation pump and circulated in order to achieve maximum penetration to all areas exposed to the lubricant. PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Density- 1.17 g/ml or 9.73 lbs/gal, Appearance- Pale Amber Liquid pH- 10.0 to 10.5
