Towerklene Saf-T-26 - Neutral Cleaner
TOWERKLENE SAF-T-26 is a concentrated aqueous cleaning solution formulated for use in immersion/soak applications. TOWERKLENE SAF-T-26 is completely safe for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is a low pH cleaner making it very safe to use by operating personnel. In some cases, disposal will be less costly since the pH does not need to be neutralized. TOWERKLENE SAFT-26 is especially effective for cleaning BEND-ALL 002, 004, and 006 synthetic tube bending lubricants and BEND-ALL 80.
Usage
TOWERKLENE SAF-T-26 is typically used at concentrations of 5% - 8% (usage should not exceed 10% on coated surfaces) and at operating temperatures between 135ºF and 170ºF. Concentration should be monitored with Tower Titration Kit. It provides in-process rust protection if not rinsed from the parts. Parts that are cleaned with TOWERKLENE SAF-T-26 and then rinsed should be coated with a water displacing rust preventive such as RUSTBEAT 385 or a water extendable corrosion inhibitor such as TOWERKLENE 46-ARP-RT for extended corrosion protection.
