Towerkem 578

TOWERKEM 578 is a biostatic, ultra high performance synthetic coolant designed for machining operations on aluminum and ferrous metals. TOWERKEM 578 uses our GREEN FLUID TECHNOLOGY making it safe for people as well as the environment. It is formulated with state of the art lubricity additives providing exceptional performance while rejecting tramp oil efficiently. It provides better lubricity on aluminum than most soluble oils while providing the long sump life and cleanliness benefits of an oil free synthetic. TOWERKEM 578 is designed for use in high pressure coolant systems. It is an all-metal safe synthetic coolant that has excellent corrosion protection. TOWERKEM 578 keeps the machine clean as it runs and has outstanding operator acceptance.

Usage

TOWERKEM 578 is effective for numerous operations, including boring, drilling, milling, reaming, sawing, tapping, and roll forming. Starting dilutions (water to lubricant) for Milling/Drilling/Turning 15:1 to 25:1. Honing/Tapping/Reaming 10:1 to 20:1. It is safe to use in all types of water and has excellent stability in hard water. TOWERKEM 578 should be stored indoors above 40° F.
